It runs entirely on next-frame prediction, an AI model trained on millions of hours of Minecraft gameplay footage, to simulate an interactive open world without traditional game engine code.

How It Works

Oasis AI Minecraft uses a technique called next-frame prediction. The AI model takes the player keyboard and mouse inputs along with the current screen and predicts what the next frame should look like. This happens continuously at roughly 20 frames per second, creating a playable Minecraft-like experience. The model was trained on extensive Minecraft footage to understand movement, terrain generation, block interactions, and item behavior. Because there is no underlying game logic, the world evolves unpredictably and often produces surreal or glitch-like results.
