Mindko

Mindko (formerly College Tools) is an AI-powered study assistant built for college and university students. It installs as a Chrome or Edge browser extension and integrates directly into Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Google Classroom, D2L Brightspace, McGraw-Hill Connect, Cengage, and more than 50 other learning platforms, placing an AI solver and tutor alongside quiz questions and assignments without requiring students to leave their LMS. An iOS and Android mobile app extends the same solve-and-explain capability to physical textbooks and handwritten notes.

How It Works

• Install the Chrome or Edge extension, open any quiz or assignment page on a supported learning platform, and the extension automatically detects question content on the page.
• Click the in-page Solve button on a multiple-choice or short-answer question to receive an instant answer with a step-by-step explanation and links to supporting sources.
• Use Scan and Solve to capture a screenshot of a math equation, chemical diagram, graph, or image-based question that cannot be selected as plain text.
• Activate Supercharge to upload lecture notes, syllabi, PDFs, or textbook chapters so the AI tailors its answers to the student's specific course materials and curriculum.
• Open the side panel AI chat for follow-up questions, deeper concept breakdowns, or dedicated study modes including Quiz Mode, Essay Writer, and Coding Tutor.
