How It Works

Users begin by entering a story idea and selecting their child age group and preferred story length. The AI storyteller generates a unique tale based on the input. As the story progresses, the platform presents three choices at key narrative moments, each leading to different outcomes. This allows children to guide the direction of the adventure and experience a new story path each time. All stories are automatically saved to the user library for returning to unfinished tales or revisiting completed ones. Completed stories can be made public and shared with family and friends, with the option to make shared stories private again at any time.

Pricing

The first few stories are free for new users. After that, a plan costs $7.99 and provides 450 AI interactions valid for 30 days. Each interaction counts when starting a new story or making a choice within an existing one. With 450 interactions, users can create approximately 90 short stories, 64 medium stories, or 50 long stories. The plan does not auto-renew, requiring users to purchase again after expiration if they wish to continue.

Safety and Content Moderation

Kids Tell Tales takes child safety seriously. The AI is specifically adjusted to generate child-friendly content, and all story prompts are screened for appropriateness. The platform prohibits frightening and disturbing topics not appropriate for children and will display a Content Not Suitable for Children message for prompts that fail the safety check. Users can report inappropriate content to the support team if needed.
