Overview
Nozomio Labs is an applied AI research lab that builds Nia, a context augmentation layer for AI coding agents. Nia indexes codebases, documentation sites, PDFs, datasets, and other sources so that agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Continue can retrieve relevant external context without manual copy-pasting. The company was founded by Arlan Rakhmetzhanov, participated in Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch, and raised $6.2 million in seed funding from CRV, BoxGroup, and LocalGlobe.
Key Capabilities
- Universal Search. Nia provides sub-5-second responses across millions of indexed pages and GitHub files. Small AI models compress results in milliseconds for token-efficient answers.
- Sandbox Agentic Search. Run an agent inside any public repository with full file-tree access without indexing or embeddings. Nia spins up an ephemeral sandbox, clones the repo, and answers queries from real files before tearing the environment down.
- Oracle Research. A search mode designed to reduce hallucinations. It turns indexed codebases into a dynamic tree that the agent queries on the fly.
- Autosubscribe. Feed package.json or requirements.txt to Nia. It parses dependencies, resolves documentation URLs, and indexes everything within minutes for instant context on every library.
- Sync Engine. Continuously sync local folders, databases, and chat history. Personal knowledge bases including iMessage, browser history, and notes become searchable by agents.
- Tracer. An autonomous GitHub search subagent that requires no pre-indexing. Given a question and repositories to search, it is powered by Claude Opus 4.7 with a 1 million token context window.
- Document Agent. An agent that reasons over documents such as papers, books, and engineering drawings. It browses the table of contents, reads sections, and keeps searching until it finds an answer. Every claim cites a page number.
- Context Sharing. Save conversation histories, plans, and referenced sources. Resume in another agent without losing the thread.
Use Cases
- Developers using AI coding assistants. Teams that rely on Cursor, Claude Code, or Continue can connect Nia to give their agents immediate access to internal documentation, third-party library docs, and related repositories.
- Projects with extensive documentation. Organizations that maintain large documentation sites, style guides, or API references can index them once and let agents reference the latest information automatically.
- Multi-repository development. When an application spans multiple codebases (for example separate frontend and backend repositories), Nia indexes all of them so agents see the full architecture.
- Research and compliance. The Document Agent and Oracle Research features help teams reason over legal documents, academic papers, or engineering specifications with cited answers.
Pricing
Nia offers a free tier with 3 lifetime indexes and 50 queries per month. Paid plans start at $15 per month for the Builder plan (50 indexes, 1000 queries, 30 deep research operations per month) and scale up to Team at $50 per seat per month and Business at $99 per seat per month. Enterprise plans with self-hosted deployment and SOC 2 compliance are available on request. Additional credit packs can be purchased on demand and never expire.
Privacy and Security
Nia provides self-hosted deployment options for enterprise customers and supports end-to-end encryption for personal data. The platform offers SOC 2 compliance for organizations with regulatory requirements.
