How It Works

Supernormal uses a desktop notetaker app (available for macOS and Windows) that captures meeting audio directly from the user computer without requiring a bot to join the call. The app runs quietly in the background during video calls on platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. After the meeting, users can prompt AI agents to produce deliverables based on the discussion — all within the Supernormal workspace. Users can also attach files and emails for additional context, making outputs more tailored to specific client needs.

Key Capabilities

Supernormal offers several AI-powered content generation tools. AI Slides turns brainstorming sessions into pitch decks, strategy sessions into presentations, and campaign briefs into Instagram visuals. AI Documents converts discovery calls into proposals and kickoffs into creative briefs with goals, direction, and audience insights. AI Images generates visuals from campaign discussions. An AI Assistant helps draft follow-up emails, summarize action items, and create next-step communications. The platform also includes a native meeting notetaker that produces summaries, transcripts, and action items from any meeting without requiring a separate meeting bot.

MCP Integration

Supernormal provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects meeting context directly into AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Once configured, users can query their meeting history from within these tools — for example, asking Claude to draft a proposal based on a discovery call or summarize action items from the last three project meetings. The MCP server is available at api.supernormal.com/mcp and supports authentication with a Supernormal account.

Integrations

Supernormal integrates with Gmail for inbox context and drafted replies, Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar for automatic meeting detection without bot join, Google Drive for reading document context and saving outputs, and Linear for turning action items into tickets via MCP. The platform also connects to Slack for team collaboration, and supports task management tools and CRMs.

Pricing

Supernormal uses a credit-based pricing model. The Free plan includes 5 daily credits and 15 monthly credits with desktop app meeting note capture, AI content generation, unlimited projects, and MCP access. The Team plan removes daily credit limits at 50 monthly credits per month, adds credit rollover for up to two years, unlimited seats with shared credits across the organization, and removes the Supernormal badge. The Business plan adds SSO, audit logs, data retention controls, and member visibility and admin controls.

Security and Compliance

Supernormal uses AWS infrastructure with TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. The platform is SOC 2 certified, HIPAA compliant, and GDPR compliant. It undergoes periodic penetration testing and security reviews. Access controls, two-factor authentication, and incident response processes are in place.
