Avery NXR

Avery NXR (Native Execution Runtime) is a local-first development platform from GoodGist, Inc. that lets developers build production-ready Next.js applications and AI agents by describing them in plain English. All processing happens on the user's own hardware using local AI models, with no cloud dependency or per-token costs for routine operations.

Key Features

• Local app generation. Describe an application in plain English and Avery NXR scaffolds a full Next.js + Prisma + PostgreSQL codebase with CRUD operations, database schema, and a running preview on localhost. It uses deterministic signed generator plugins that users can audit line by line.
• AI agent builder. Build agents using a visual drag-and-drop node canvas or YAML configuration. Agents support 59 capabilities across 14 categories including LLM prompting, vector knowledge base retrieval, email triggers, webhooks, scheduled execution, HTTP requests, file operations, and shell commands. Agents can compose sub-agents, loop, branch on conditions, and retry failed steps.
• Local-first AI. The platform runs standard open-weight SLMs (Small Language Models) on the user's machine via Ollama. Models are ranked by available RAM and GPU. There are no per-token charges and full offline and air-gapped operation is supported.
• Consult Mode. When a task exceeds the local model's capability, Avery can send an anonymized and redacted task payload to a frontier model (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini) using the user's own API key. This is off by default and requires per-task consent.
• Import from spreadsheets. Users can drop in Excel workbooks (.xlsx, .xlsm, .csv) to reverse-engineer Prisma models, TypeScript logic, and Zod validation schemas. Bidirectional sync and a conflict resolution UI handle drift between the workbook and generated app.
• Connector ecosystem. Over 60 pre-built connectors across 15 OAuth providers and 48 API-key services spanning email (SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, Resend, SES), SMS (Twilio), web search (Tavily, Exa, Brave, Firecrawl), CRM (Zendesk, Intercom), commerce (Stripe, Shopify), databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis), and more.

Use Cases

• Internal tool development. Teams can scaffold custom CRUD applications for accounts payable, timesheet tracking, expense management, and other business workflows from natural language descriptions without writing boilerplate.
• Private AI automation. Organizations handling sensitive data can build and run AI agents that process documents, triage tickets, qualify leads, and monitor systems entirely on-premise with no data egress.
• Workflow automation. Users can deploy agents triggered by email, schedule, webhook, or other agents to automate tasks like invoice processing, pipeline summarization, resume screening, and server health monitoring.
• Offline and air-gapped environments. Field service, defense, and compliance-constrained settings can run the full platform disconnected from the internet using local models and on-premise deployment.

Pricing

Avery NXR is in private beta with three tiers: a Free Desktop tier ($0, standard local models and connectors), a Desktop Pro tier ($29 per user per month adding premium models, frontier model consult, and cloud deployment), and an Enterprise tier with on-premise Central Server, SSO, RBAC, and custom generators. All tiers run on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
