Perfect Memory AI is a Windows desktop productivity tool that continuously records screen activity and meeting audio, storing everything locally on the user's device. It uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to index on-screen text and automatic speech recognition (ASR) to transcribe meetings, creating a fully searchable personal memory archive.

• Screen capture and OCR indexing: The application runs in the background and reads on-screen text using OCR. All captured text is indexed for fast search, allowing users to retrieve past presentations, web pages, emails, and documents they have previously viewed. This eliminates the need to remember exactly where a piece of information was seen.
• Meeting transcription: Perfect Memory automatically detects meetings across major platforms and transcribes both what the user says and hears. Transcripts are processed locally on the device, and no bot joins the meeting on the user's behalf.
• AI assistant with ChatGPT integration: Users can ask the AI assistant to summarize their day, draft emails, recall past conversations, or retrieve information from captured screen and meeting data. Pricing

Perfect Memory offers a Free tier with unlimited search, recordings, and meeting transcripts but limits AI assists to 10 per month and AI meetings to 30 per month. The Pro tier at $15 per month (billed yearly) removes these limits and provides unlimited AI assistant capabilities including standup updates, meeting agenda suggestions, and daily briefs. An offline-only version is also available for a one-time payment of $79.

Privacy and Security

All recording data, including screenshots, video, and audio, is stored locally on the user's device and is never transmitted to external servers. Compression, OCR, and ASR processing all happen on-device. Recordings are encrypted with Bitlocker and AES-256 with Scrypt. The application automatically pauses recording when private or incognito browser sessions are detected. Users can configure which applications are captured and how long data is retained.

Supported AI Providers

Users can select from multiple AI backends: ChatGPT for cloud-powered responses, or local providers including Ollama, LM Studio, and Jan for fully offline operation with their own API tokens.
