Cluely

Cluely is an AI meeting assistant designed to provide real-time support during online meetings, interviews, and calls. Unlike traditional meeting bots that join as visible participants, Cluely operates invisibly on the user's machine, listening to audio and screen context to deliver instant answers, definitions, and conversation summaries without being detected by other participants or screen-sharing software.

How It Works

Cluely runs as a desktop application on macOS and is also available on iOS. It captures meeting audio and screen context in real time, then surfaces relevant information through a movable overlay window. Users press Cmd+Enter (or Ctrl+Enter on Windows) to trigger AI assistance, asking questions, requesting definitions, or generating responses based on the current conversation. After each meeting, Cluely automatically generates structured notes, action items, and follow-up email drafts.

Real-Time Transcription. Cluely provides live transcription with under 300ms latency and 95 percent accuracy across 12-plus languages including English, Spanish, Chinese, and more.

Undetectable Operation. The tool does not join meetings as a bot participant, meaning no extra avatar or name appears in the participant list. Its overlay is invisible to screen-sharing feeds on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Slack, making it suitable for client-facing calls where discretion matters.

Post-Meeting Summaries. After each call, Cluely produces clean, structured meeting notes with action items and a draft follow-up email that can be sent in one click.

People Search and Memory. Cluely fetches attendee information from calendar events and runs deep people search to surface a pre-meeting snapshot of each participant, including their background, workplace, and past conversation history. Customizable Behavior. Users can upload files, set custom instructions, and configure keybindings to tailor Cluely's assistance to their workflow. The overlay window is fully movable to match the user's natural gaze on screen.
