Mixus is an AI agent platform designed for attorneys and law firms. It integrates directly with email and Microsoft Word, letting legal professionals delegate contract redlining, deal modeling, and document analysis to AI agents while maintaining full attorney oversight through playbook-based governance and firm-level controls.

Key Capabilities

• Email-based agent interaction: attorneys forward matters to the agent by email, CC reviewers, and receive work product back in the same thread without switching tools.
• AI redlining: contracts are returned with track changes, and every edit includes a comment citing the specific playbook rule that required it.
• Deal modeling: term sheets and cap tables sent by email return as working .xlsx files with live formulas, dilution breakdowns, SAFE conversion checks, and price-per-share calculations in under 15 minutes.
• Playbook system: prior deals and approved language are captured as review rules, including preferred positions, fallback clauses, and unacceptable terms. Playbooks are versioned and can be scoped by client, contract type, or practice area.
• Continuous learning: attorney decisions (accept, edit, dismiss) improve future agent runs. Repeated patterns become proposed rules that attorneys review and approve before they take effect.

How It Works

The workflow follows four steps. First, an attorney forwards a matter to the agent by email, CCing any reviewers who need visibility. Second, the agent processes the work, whether redlining a contract, building a financial model, or analyzing a document. Third, the attorney reviews the returned work in Word or email, accepting, editing, or dismissing each suggestion. Fourth, every review decision updates the playbook, so the next run starts from a more informed position.

Security and Compliance

Mixus is built for confidential client work. The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified and ISO 27001:2022 certified, with support for GDPR and HIPAA compliance. Data is encrypted with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Customer-managed encryption keys (BYOK) are available for sensitive deployments. The platform enforces zero data retention by model providers and offers matter-level data compartments, per-edit exportable audit trails, and US and EU data residency options.
