Prompt Selected is a free Chrome browser extension that enables users to run custom ChatGPT prompts on any text they select on a web page. How It Works

• Users select text on any web page, open the Prompt Selected extension via the browser toolbar, choose or type a prompt, and receive the result displayed within the extension popup interface
• The extension requires an OpenAI API key entered during onboarding and stored locally on the user machine. It never sends the key to any third party
• Prompt cards can be created, edited, and deleted from the extension configuration interface, giving users full control over their prompt library
• The extension is available for installation from the Chrome Web Store and runs on all Chromium-based browsers including Chrome, Edge, and Brave
